Left is Sir George Moore (Speaker 1758-1780) – the first Member of the House of Keys to insist on the title “Speaker.”
Right: Sir Charles Kerruish (Speaker 1962-1990)
– the longest serving Speaker in any Parliament in the Commonwealth and first President of Tynwald.
