St. Mary’s on the Harbour

St Mary’s on the Harbour is the Church of England Church for the Parish of Castletown in the Diocese of Sodor and Man.

The church building  has been consecrated as a church since 1985 when the congregation moved from the ‘Garrison Church’ in Castletown Square.  The Vicar, Peter Robinson is also Vicar of the Parishes of Arbory and Santan.

We extend a very warm welcome to you to join us at any of our services or groups.

Baptisms, Marriages and Funerals

Sunday service times are as follows:

8am	Holy Communion  [Book of Common Prayer 1662]
10.30am	Holy Communion or Morning Prayer [Common Worship 2000] [Refreshments served after the service]
5.30pm	Evening Prayer or Holy Communion [Book of Common Prayer 1662]

‘The Loft’

At 6.30pm each Sunday during term time, ‘The Loft’ is a time and space for young people of age 11+ to come to the church hall for fully supervised christian teaching, worship, fun and games. Games include; table tennis, pool and badmington.’

Alpha

We try to run an Alpha course each year starting in the Autumn. The Alpha course is a 10 session introduction to the Christian faith. It particularly caters for those wanting to investigate Christianity, new Christians and those who want to brush up on the basics of the faith.

Church Hall

We have a large church hall above the church, with kitchen, toilets and stair lift which may be available to hire. Please contact either the Vicar or Churchwardens for further information.
