Hospice Shop Volunteers serving a customerThe patient care services from Hospice have grown and grown over the years and now involve a wide range other than inpatient care and care in the community. The Day Care Hospice in St. Bridget’s is an ever popular feature, enjoyed by patients who are brought in from their homes and enjoy the company and companionship of other patients, plus a manicure and hairdo for the ladies plus a carefully prepared lunch and a variety of enjoyable activities.

Many of the Day Hospice patients use their time at St. Bridget’s on Tuesdays and Thursdays to make a variety of articles – toys, gifts, and much more – for sale in our shops. This contribution to Hospice Care running costs is not only appreciated but humbling.

Annual expenses rise at a frightening annual rate so support from the Isle of Man community through our shops is most important – both buying from us and giving. Please continue you support – we need you help to pay for patient care.
